Rita Bard is a German-American multimedia artist whose work merges tangibles with painting and building to construct dreams, thoughts, and memories.

She was born in Louisville, Ky., attended Maine College of Art, and studied art glass design, theory, and praxis at the Staatliche Glasfachschule Hadamar, Hadamar, Germany.

Her work has been shown at the Ely Center of Contemporary Art, New Haven, CT; Center for Contemporary Art, Santa Fe, NM; University of Texas at Tyler, Tyler, TX; EDGE ZONES, Miami, FL; Center for Contemporary Art, Abilene, TX; and galleries throughout the US.

Rita Bard's studio is located in Santa Fe, NM.
